I have been useing the WASC recipe for a few years now. In the past it alwas came out great, but now it's sinking in the middle and the cake seems much heavier. I am doing everything the same.
Has there been a change in your ingredients? Maybe different ounce packages.
cabecakes makes a very good point - make sure and check that all your ingredients come in the same size package as you used to use. Many products are being sold for the same price but the quantity is less, it's very aggravating. It seems like they are doing it instead of just increasing prices because they think the consumer can be 'fooled' into not realizing they are actually paying more for a product.
