I am trying to paint a screwdriver with silver pearl dust and vodka. I can't get it to go on smooth. Any tips please?

Let dry between coats. You just need to keep putting it on there. Try dry brushing some on after your last coat and see if that works before adding more vodka, dust mixture.

Whenever I want something silver I will color my fondant gray. I makes the silver coverage a bit easier too.

Don't go over an area more than once. Once it's dry, you can dust it with some dry silver dust for more of a metallic effect.
