Making Fondant Roses First Time-Question

So I am going to make some roses like the tutorial posted on this site. I am planning on using fondant with tylose powder added.

How long in advance do roses need to dry before putting them on the cake? Thanks!

The centres should be made one day, the rose petals the next, and they can go in your cake a day or two later.
