Anyone? I am making this now and don't have time to experiment with it.

I use SMBC exclusively-I personally would not do it! icon_redface.gif I know how sensitive these buttercreams are. I wouldn't advise this unless you had time to experiment.

No. It will not work. Use Lorann banana flavoring or banana extract.

I did not even try it. Not brave enough to risk it. Thanks for the knowledge, I checked my local United grocers for flavors and they only had cinnamon, mint, vanilla and banana. They have every flavor imaginable in syrups for coffee, can I use those?

I'm not sure how it would affect the texture or volume of the MBC. You can go online & find Lorann flavors or if you have a candy place where they sell molds for chocolate & candy, they would carry them also.

I added some cheesecake flavored instant pudding mix to buttercream using shortening and butter and it worked fine; you just have to add more liquid to get the consistency you want. It was a nice substitute for cream cheese frosting so that it would not have to be refrigerated.
