Hey!

Really didn't know what to title my question. Ok, when you use wire (like with starts on them), I put them in a straw first, BUT what can you do to keep them from moving around? How to keep the straw fixed in one place.....I want to know how to keep everything stationery.

Thanks,
Lori

I put fondant into the top of the straw. You can do this just by roughly rolling out a bit of fondant about 1cm thick then pressing the end of the straw into the fondant a few times which cuts out a little circle of fondant each time. The fondant should stick inside the straw, plugging the end. Then you can insert the wires into the fondant which will prevent them wobbling around in there.

...I think some people pipe a bit of royal icing, or chocolate into the straw.
