I have a wedding cake in October and the bride is wanting to do a taste test. The wedding cakes that I have done in the past, never wanted to do a taste test. So this is new to me. I have never done taste tests before and she wants to try like six different flavors, some with fondant, some without. My questions are, do you charge for this?? The other question is what size cake do I make?? Any suggestions?? She wants to do the taste test June 16th, so I want to get back to her ASAP..... Thanks!!

I do a MAXIMUM of three flavors from my limited tasting menu (not the full menu), a ball of fondant only just for a taste. I bake 1 layer 4" round and torte it. Rough iced with bc. I do not charge as charging for tastings in this community is unheard of.

Well, one place used to charge for tastings, but they went out of business.
