A bride wants a white cake that tastes like chocolate. The only thing I can think of is white chocolate, but I think she wants regular chocolate flavoring.

Do you know of any recipes like this?

I don't know of any way to impart a dark or milk chocolate flavor without imparting some color to the cake. I'd love to hear about it if anybody know how you can do this. I'm not a particular fan of white chocolate.

Wow! What an unusual request. I've used Lor-Ann oils before but I don't know if they have one that is chocolate flavored and if they do, it also might change the color of the batter and/or frosting. I would ask the bride if she has ever had a cake like that before and see if she could provide a recipe. Good luck!

I don't know how it would taste but what about adding some white creme de cocoa liquer, to your batter in place of the liquid???? I don't think the flavor would be as strong as regular white chocolate. sorry I could not be of more help!! good luck
