How do you anchor your cake that has the cake on it to the multiple cake boards, plywood, or foam board which ever you decide to use. sorry for sounding dense but I am a newbie.

It's a great question. In fact, I asked it myself a few months ago. icon_lol.gif I think I got 20 different solutions. Some people use double-sided tape to adhere the cardboard to the cakeboard. One person uses carpte tape. Some people use RI as glue. Others use actual glue.

I don't think there's one right answer, more like "what works for you." Personally, I'm a RI/BC gluer. I never have the other stuff on hand and that's worked fine for me so far.

I use buttercream to stick the cake to its same sized board and I use heavy duty glue dots (scrapbooking section of Michaels) to adhere that board to the decorative board.

I use duct tape, the heavy duty red stuff.
