What is the best way to make a 2? I am doing a graduation cake next week and am confident with the 0 and 1's. Been searching the internet and this site for any tutorials, not having luck. Found one that said to bake the cake with a can in the middle to form a hole and than to piece that together for a 2?

The number cakes I've done I make a half sheet and just free hand the number. I use a pairing knife to cut part way through it to make sure it looks the way I want it and then cut all the way through.
