I have made many, many cakes, but have all been smaller pans, or just a one layer 8" square cake for small functions.

I am using a 10" square pan and need to serve 50 people. I have reviewed the chart in the forums that list the size, batter, frosting, etc, but guess I want to clarify that I'm reading it correctly.

So, I have a 2 inch layer already baked. I'm guessing I need a second 2 inch layer that will give me the 50 servings??

Please let me know!
