I live in northern virginia, and was wondering if anyone knew about how to get info on classes (other than wilton) in the area. I have no idea where to look. help please!

you might want to try looking at community colleges, adult education centers, and local cake decorating supply stores.

We have a lot of classes in the area.

Fran's Cake and Candy, located in Fairfax, has classes all the time.

Barbara Kelly has classes in her house in MD often.

There's also a local cake club, Cake and Sugar Artists of Northern Virginia, that meet every month. We have a demo each month, and we also hear about everyone's upcoming classes. It meets the third Wed of the month.
