I want to do white monograms on red cookies for a graduation. I have played with RI stenciling- spreading icing over, then lifting. For 100 cookies, this seems quite time consuming.

Can I "paint" the stencil on with AmeriGel White coloring? Using the daubing method?

The base coat will be glaze, well dried.

Not tried that, but I think the red base would make the coloring look pinkish it would take an awful long time to dry too as it would need to be quite thick.
