I asked a question about sending a cake through the post recently and someone gave me this link

She shows in pics how she posted the cake. I also posted my cake (if you look in my pics its The round one with congratulations written on the top for a baby boy. I didn't wrap it in bubble wrap, just put it in a 10 inch box on a 10 inch board so it couldn't slide around, then put that in another box with padding around the cake box. I wrote on the side to keep the right way up and my friend said it turned up fine, no damage.
