I have a giant cake due next week with another giant cake due to days later.
I have a couple of questions. I was planning a oreo cookie filling in a 4 tier cake. Early can I make the filling? I don't know how long the cookies can be in the filling without getting nasty. Also, I am planning on covering everything in fondant. How many days in advance can I do this? I have a fridge for the cakes so keeping them cool is not a issue. I am just not sure how long Satin Ice can sit on buttercream before it starts sliding. I have worked with fondant, but don't know tricks yet. icon_razz.gif Any advice would be helpful.
