and put the fondant cake i made for her in the freezer.....I just found out...what should i tell her to do? (besides tell her that you shouldnt freeze fondanat covered cakes)...

tell her to take it 24 hours ahead and keep it wrapped/boxed/covered until it thaws completely.

She can freeze it.

Box it. Wrap that in saran and some foil. Freeze it. 24hrs. b/4 event, place in fridge still fully wrapped & boxed. Several hours b/4 display/serving, place at room temp. (still fully boxed & wrapped).
An hour, or so, before display/serving, unwrap.

It'll be fine.
