Hi all

This is my first post here and I am hoping someone can help me. I am trying to make some thin gumpaste panels to stick to a car cake as a spoiler and bumper. Usually I would prepare these well in advance to allow them to set but in this case I have 2 days. Does anyone know how I can dry these quickly? I live in the uk so it is not humid. Thanks in advance. X

I sometimes dry my flowerpaste pieces in the oven on 50 degrees celcius, for five minutes, they will be a little soft when you take them out but harden up very quickly.

Put them in your oven on a cookie sheet with just the oven light on, no heat. works really good.

Thanks very much for your quick replies. I'll try the oven trick. I love this forum. X
