Please help....I did not know that Rum cake had a glaze...I'd never made it that way and always had happy campers (knew a family recipe for years)...I was asked to do one with STRONG Rum flavor and glaze. My worry is she (client) has a specific design in mind and wants a 2 tier cake with fondant....any advice, PLEASE?????

Depends on how much rum and glaze you add to the cake. The three tier blue star cake in my photos is a Tres Leches cake which is soaked with milks and it held up fine. You have to make sure your cake is not to moist and have the proper supports (dowels).
