icon_smile.gif a friend of mine as ask if i can do her daughter a 21st birthday cake . i am very nervous i did think about doing one with some daisys on and couple of butterflies and just writing on ,i have looked on ebay and seen daisy cutters and butterflie cutters in set . is it best to buy edible glue to stick on or royal icing i am new to all this

If sticking decorations onto fondant then you can roll tiny balls of fondant, moisten them a bit, and press the decorations onto those. Or you can use sugar/gum glue, or royal icing. You can also use just a little water by itself, which works well, provided that either the decoration or the surface has not dried out yet.

You can make your own edible glue by using 2 tbsps of water to 1/4 tsp of tylose powder. Mix them together, it'll look lumpy but if you leave it over night they dissolve. I use mine straight away as I don't plan ahead making it icon_smile.gif
