Hey there, can I get some feedback on this, do many people use sour cream instead of oil in cake mixes?
I've tried it , and it seems to be a moister cake.
I actually use both in mine. I've even substituted vanilla yogurt for the sour cream if I happen to run out and it works just as well.
I replace some of the water with sour cream or flavored yogurt. I substitute the oil with applesauce.
