I made my first fondant cake tonight, homemade fondant icon_biggrin.gif and was wondering how do I get the cake firmer so that Its not falling apart while Im trying to work with it? Thanks

I always freeze for 10 mins after I do the crumb coat, then apply the fondant. Also, it depends on the kind of cake you are working with. I find a pound -type cake is the best for fondant. WASC holds up really well...
