I am doing a baby shower cake for roughly 25 people. I want to do a small tier, with the top tier being a 6" round. What do you think I should make the bottom tier? TIA!

An 8in gives you 24 servings (1x2x4). Added that too the 12 servings from the 6in and you will have 36 servings.

any bigger and you will have a gigantic amount of extra cake, not to mention extra work..

thanks! I baked an 8" last night, but it just didn't look like enough, lol.....ok I'll stick with 8"! Thanks!
