Need Tutorial For 'stack Of Books' Cake!
Decorating By cakechica27 Updated 11 May 2011 , 10:05pm by cakechica27
Anyone know of a good tutorial or where to read about how to construct a cake that looks like a stack of books? If you have any tips, they are greatly appreciated! This is my first shot at a stack of books cake - freaking out a little...
Thank you!
Sharon Zambito has a DVD on the stacked books cake. I ordered it, and highly recommend it.
Her web is sugaredproductions.com

That is exactly what I was going to recommend.
Yes, I have made millions of stacked cakes. Just never had to carve/decorate a book cake. I'll check out that website - thank you!
I agree. Sharon's DVD's are great! I have several and refer to them often. She is great. She is always willing to help.
THANK YOU caked4life! The Frosted Cake & Cookie website had a great tutorial, complete with pics and measurements. You are a lifesaver! And thank you to everyone else for your suggestions!
