i have been asked to make a cake for the bouncing bulldogs jump rope team! i am excited, but i'm trying to come up with some clever ideas for the cake!
any thoughts or ideas????
i'd love to hear what you guys think
Are you good at figures? I am imagining a 1/2 sheet cake (depending on how big you make it) with a long skipping rope on top and bull dog figure at each end , holding the rope and one in the middle jumping rope (and maybe a couple lined up). IF figures aren't your thing or you're short on time, use choc molds (that's what I often do) - you can even mold gumpaste in them and paint them:

Have fun and please post pics after!

How about a round cake with a rope of fondant around the sides and each end going up to the top where two bulldogs hold the ends in the mouths?
Sounds like a fun cake to make! I used to LOVE jumping Double Dutch when I was a teenager.
Sorry I don't have any suggestions. I just got a little nostalgic
