Today I was a helping/teaching a friend with a cake for her daughter's First Communion. It was a the easiest cake decorating I have ever done. When I got there all I had to do was unpack my supplies and get to work. Cakes were baked and the frosting was made, the fondant was already kneaded. My friend rolled out the fondant, and did some of the decorating after I taught her what to do for each step, but the best thing was that her mom followed me around cleaning up everything. I finished with the spatula, she was right there to take it away and wash it. I needed a paper towel, she ran and got it for me, etc. It was awesome! I need an assistant every day in my life!
