Royal Icing Or Buttercream?

Quick question...which do you prefer for piping on Buttercream?

Royal Icing?

or

Buttercream?

BC... I don't see the point in making another kind of icing when the BC is already there!

Ditto- you can just add more icing sugar to make it a bit thicker for piping, if necessary...

Agreed. I don't like the way royal icing feels or tastes and only use it when there's no other way.
