I am working on a Wizard of Oz cake that goes out tomorrow, and have a questions. I am going to have it all green, should I color the fondant green, or cover it white and airbrush it green, which is the best vs quickest?

Thanks for your help!

I would have thought it would be quicker to colour your fondant.

Personal choice. I prefer to color the fondant.

My first choice would be pre-colored fondant. Second, air brush. Third coloring my own. It can take a lot of color to achieve an emerald (Oz) green and the paste could get very soft. Pre-colored fondant shaded with use of the air brush might give the cake a lot of depth.

Thank you so much! I will color the fondant then spray to add depth afterwards. I really appreciate the help!
