I actually did this for my cupcakes and i didnt find a big difference on the taste.

I feel so bad because it's for my daughter's job.. and to make another one I need a half cup of butter milk.. a trip to the store !!

I agree with bakencake..........The difference is probably so slight, no one will notice.

So it's out of the oven and it baked nice an even/strips !! octegon shape.. I made a nice butter cream icing taste great... Can I pull it off,... I'll have to tell a fibb and say I made it over b/c she it's the end of the world when it comes to cooking with her....LOL That's what I get for being so honest with her..

You could make a simple syrup, flavor it, then brush it over the cake before you frost it.
