I am trying to find a whipped frosting recipe that has no milk products. Also a white cake mix also. We haave guests at my son's birthday party that can't consume milk proteins and I never made cakes or frosting without milk or milk products.

My husband has developed a milk allergy in his old age. This evening, I made chocolate cupcakes with Chocolate Ganache icing.
I substitute Soy milk for the whole milk and it works!
I substitute Soy Milk in much of my cooking in fact, I don't even by whole milk for the house anymore!
