I bought Dalmatia Fig Spread to eat with brie, then wondered if it would make a good savory cake (or cake pop). Not an original idea I see after visiting Google. However, the recipes use whole figs...I want to make it easier and use the spread (already sweetened). How would y'all make a cake with fig spread and brie? Brie in the cake or as the frosting - which I'd ultimately blend in with the cake.
