Can y'all recommend the best Cake Mix D.R. book. icon_cool.gif or any cake mix enhanced book. I want to purchase one but do not want to waste my money on a useless book. I recently ordered one of the popular cake pop books and was VERY disappointed. Everything in the book was the same information that was on the "cake pop" website. Thanks!

While I have the orginal cake doctor book and enjoy it, I'd suggest looking on the internet first. There are some great doctored cake mix recipes on this site, for free, as well as many other places on the internet.

Have you seen this thread:

Or this google doc that is full of recipes:

I have the Cake Mix Doctor and the Chocolate Cake Mix Doctor books by Anne Byrne. I like both of them but it is all a matter of opinion. If you go to a website like Barnes and Noble you can sometimes take a "peek" inside the book to get an idea of what the contents are. HTH!

I have both the Cake Mix Dr and the Cake Mix Dr returns, I got them at Goodwill (on seperate ocasions) for around $5 each, they were both new copies and there were several copies of them on the shelves at the time that I got them. I haven't tried any out of the 3nd book but there are several that sound good.
