I'm trying to figure which is the best way to attach my dried(almost 2 weeks) fonant decorations to my crusted buttercream? Would it be best to use royal or fresh buttercream?
I want to attach Friday night for Saturday afternoon wedding. I was concerned with items tearing through the buttercream or starting to "melt" or get droopy because of the shortening in the buttercream.

I use a dab of fresh buttercream. Never had a problem.
