really 24 persons?

the pan is too small ,, maybe it will be enough for 24 if made 2 layers from the pan

1x2x4 means 1" wide x 2" long x 4" high... a two-layer cake with two 2" tall layers.

A 7" square cake has 49 surface square inches (7x7).
Divide surface square inches by two (2" long serving) = servings total.
