I am making a chocolate mousse torte for my mother-in-law, but have a request from my sister-in-law to combine the cake, to celebrate her boyfriend's birthday aswell. I actually have never met him, and don't know how to decorate/create this cake, so they both can be acknowledged. Has anyone got any ideas? I really need to know a.s.a.p, as the cake is due on Sunday (6 days away!)

I have also been considering making a chocolate circle to go on top of the mousse, in hope that it might hold anything in top that I might want to use for decoration.( I have been thinking that the decorations might make the mousse sag in the middle?)
Has anyone had a similar experience?
