What is the best way to adhere edible paper to fondant? I want to make sure it stays but also very smooth. I am making a open book cake & both pages are going to be edible paper. Thanks in advance!

I did it on gumpaste last week and I just spritzed lightly with water. It stuck with no problem.

Wipe the fondant with a damp paper towel and you wont have to worry about getting too much water on it.

tiggy2 is right that is how I did all the edible images on my race car cake. Damp paper towel, you definitely do not want it too wet.

I've used piping gel and a thin layer of BC as well
