Could I use Almond Vanilla Milk in place of Buttermilk....or will the lack of acidity affect my recipe? The recipe calls for buttermilk but also has baking powder and soda. I'm thinking I should be ok....but thought I'd ask to be sure!! icon_wink.gif

No ... no no no lol

Almond milk has a totally different effect on recipes. I've tried and had disastrous results. What I would do is try it on a smaller level like 1/2 batch & do a taste test and then you can see if it's rises right

Good Luck

I love almond milk, but I do not cook with it. If anything I use lactaid milk.
