Hey guys, just getting started with a cake business and they don't want to charge by the slice, they want to have standard set sizes. I was thinking 6-8-10 for 70-80 people, 6-9-12 for 90-110 people, with the option of additional cakes in the back or extra tiers for larger parties. Do those sizes sound about right for serving sizes. They wanted to say the larger would feed 80-120, but I felt like that was too much of a difference for one cake. They are counting on some people not eating cake... I have the wilton charts, and I think it sounds about right, but I wanted to get everyone's opinions on standard cake sizes... Thanks in advance for the advice!

I agree. 74 for the first size, and 100 for the second size, is close enough to their range, but 80-120 is quite a difference in range for the larger set up.
