Hello!
I'm going to be doing a cupcake wedding cake, and I'd like to make my own round cupcake stand. I'm making 150 MINI cupcakes, with a 6" round cake on top. I want to have 4 layers of mini cupcakes. I want to have maybe 3 rows of cupcakes for the bigger layers, going down to maybe 2 rows of cupcakes for the top layers. My question is, has anyone done something like this before with MINI cupcakes so I can get an idea of what size tiers I would need? I was thinking something along the lines of 14", 12", 10", 8" and then the 6" on top but I have no idea if that will fit the mini cupcakes, or if it'll be too much, or if there's any way to figure it out other than taking all of the boards out and using templates to see what will fit. Thoughts? Thanks in advance!

I would take the 10" and line the mini muffin cups on it to see how many will fit minus six for room and determine how many would be enough for each layer from there.
