Does anyone know how many cups there are in a 14 oz bag of candy melts? I need to make some modeling chocoalte, but I buy my melts in bulk instead of the Wilton bags. They taste MUCH better. I don't have a scale, so I can't measure out the ounces.

TIA

I always use a scale because I discovered that Wilton has different size bags, depending on the color of the melts (even though they all look the same). I don't have any full 14 oz. bags, so I can't help you out right now.

When I buy bulk, I find the colors are much more intense than Wilton's. I sometimes mix with white chocolate melts (lighter color, and cheaper).

Sorry I can't help now. If you don't get a response, try reposting with your main question as the subject.

use a scale.That is how I weigh them.8 ounces = 1 cup..So I would say 14 ounces = 1 3/4 of a cup.Don't use a glass cup that is used to measure liqiuds.
