A cow grazing on a green grass pasture with hydrangeas growing here and there, and a rainbow standing behind it?

Is it a sheet cake or tiered?

That's a lot of unique elements for one cake...it will be hard not to make it gaudy! I suppose you could do a cow print background, topped with blue hydrangeas and a rainbow.....nope...still gaudy! Or you could do tiers...cows, rainbows and flowers...yep...still a little much. Oh what the heck...go for it and make it loud and funky. I don't think I've seen too many elegant or sophisticated cakes that had cows and rainbows involved! Good luck! icon_lol.gif

Green grass board... Vertical rainbow stripes on bottom tier... Cow print top tier, topped with hydrangeas?

Yikes. This one has SO been bugging me.

I have NEVER seen an elegant cow print!

The nearest to sophistication I can think of is maybe a painted pastoral scene.

Again, yikes! I agree with Carmijok. It sounds like it might be a time to embrace the funky! Best of luck to you. Seriously!

To add an extra issue its a gluten free cake so it's only going to be 1 layer. I could do a second 1 layer cake for everyone else and transfer some of the decorations over to it!

OMG!!! icon_eek.gif Bless your heart! I wished I could help but maybe the idea to make it loud and funky is the way to go! Good luck!

Actually, that doesn't sound too tough. I was going to suggest similar to SugarFiend. I bet it will be cute.

I just may try sugarfiends idea....it sounds the least gaudy than anything I have thought of!

A cow grazing on a green grass pasture with hydrangeas growing here and there, and a rainbow standing behind it?

I love my friend dearly but she really know how to challenge me!! LOL

Or you could do something like this cake, but with a cow instead of a unicorn.

What about just doing a meadow with cows and hydrangea bushes, then put the rainbow on the inside of the cake?

Or a cow on the inside.

Here is a cow with a rainbow. You could just make the flowers be hydrangeas.

How about a giant cow cake? Or maybe not, but it is pretty amazing!

What about a small(er!) 3d cow cake sitting on green grass covered board with hydrangeas and a rainbow going over the cow diagonally from one corner of the board to the opposite? - Just variations on the above ideas really
