Greetings everyone.

I am baking a cake for a bake sale hosted by the honors program at a college.
It will shaped as 2-3 stacked textbooks with a graduation cap on top.

That being said, what flavors(and fillings) would you correlate with intelligece or studious?

I have carrot cake on my mind(with a marshmallow cream cheese frosting), but I am wondering if that would work well with the fondant? icon_biggrin.gif

The three that come to my mind would be red velvet, german chocolate, and spice cake. Maybe even chocolate carrot cake! Hope that helps!

Cream cheese frosting for the red velvet and you could fill it with that too, coconut pecan caramel for the german chocolate, and for the spice cake you could do a caramel apple filling or blueberry filling with cream cheese frosting.
