I need to make a cake for a girl and a guy, it is not a milestone birthday, they are just celebrating together. Any ideas on a motif that might work for both? something simple would be nice. I thought of a loop bow in the centre like a gift box, but wanted to see what other ideas any of you might have.

the loop bow in the middle of a square cube cake with ribbons across and down the sides like a traditional wrapped present? (maybe thats what you already meant)
