How Do U Fix Dry Fondant

after i use my fondant i wrap it in plastic,foil then into a container. after a couple of weeks i took it out to use and into the micro to warm and soften up the fondant when i try to knead the fondant with crisco it breaks apart. is there a secret to fix dry fondant? thanks

few things to take into account
1- dont use microwave too much.. the more u use the microwave the more it losses water.. think about how u bread i nthe microwave .. if u put it too much it will get dry.. personally i used to use the microwave alot when i didnt know how to make my MMF properly and it used to come out too hard form the start.. a solution i found was to actually add water to it when microwaving
2 if u didnt microwave it alot maybe u just need to kneed it alittle more i find that the head from ur hand will sofen it alittle..
