There's a recipe on this site call A+ Babana cake. It's a scratch banana cake. Really moist and tastes like banana bread.

Here is a great moist flavorful banana cake I've used for years it comes from the Fannie Farmer Baking Book

Kona Inn Banana Bread

Stir and toss together
2 1/2 c flour
1 t salt
2 t baking soda

Cream together
1 c vegetable shortening sometimes I use 1/2 shortening 1/2 butter

Add 2 c mashed ripe bananas
4 eggs slightly beaten

Add the dry ingredients and stir until just combined

Optional add 1 cup chopped nuts if desired

Bake in prepared pan at 350 for 65-70 minutes. I spray my pans with baking Pam
