OH MY GOSH!!
i've done it this time!
I promised a lady i work with i would make her a rose spray, just because i haven't got to do any thing remotely cake related for ages!!
anyway-- i went looking for the tutorial i used the last time- AND I CAN'T FIND IT!!

It is a tutorial for making a rose with a 5 petal cutter, but it isn't the one in Rylan's list....
i found it on youtube originally- and all i can remember is that the poster makes the roses with a single petal first, then reverts to 5 petal cutters.
She also does this toothpick trick where she curls back petals, then flips the entire cut out over...
i feel like i have serached every option
sugar roses
gumpaste roses
fondant roses
how to make... (all of the above)

if this is YOUR style and you have a video link can you please help me out... i'm so devestated.. I'm thinking i will just buy the topper from the cake store for my colleague because I don't want to let her down!!!

please help if you can!

sad lolly xx

lollyponpon,
thanks SO much for posting the link... icon_biggrin.gif i saw the original tutorial that was posted by Francesca and then it disappeared. From the comments, it looks like Francesca's site went down and the tutorial was reposted by emrldsky.

Hey cakers...
here is a pic of the roses i made using this tutorial!!
i truly believe anyone could make them using this step by step video!
I made my cones out of gumpaste last week and let them harden, but Francesca gives a great option for those pressed for time-- use foam balls and a hot glue gun!
