Edible Flower Pots

My aunt wants me to do cupcakes for my cousins baby shower, she wants the cupcakes to look like mini flower pots with flowers. I asked if I could use real terracotta pots but she would really like edible flowerpots... any ideas how to do this?

bake the cupcake, unwrap it, then wrap terracotta colored fondant around it?

kinda like the ones on this link, but i'd suggest making the 'pot' taller ya know?
