I have been asked to put a clan tartan onto a birthday cake and i have no idea on how to do this.
I have looked online for ideas and i am a bit lost. I was considering getting a ribbon on the tartan of choice but no one does it, I have looked at edible print but that look isnt what i am after being a little flat in appearance and what have you.
so i have decided that if i cannot buy it i will make it. Does anyone know how to make a realistic looking tartan by hand?
I saw a link from a scottish lady on utube but it wasnt as clean looking as i want it to look and its for a much larger piece of work.
Any help would be great as its the hardest part of my project.
