I have to buy a freezerless refrigerator in the next few weeks or so, because the refrigerator I usually use to store cakes between the time of baking to delivery has decided to die on me (it was a "gift" from someone who used to use it as a beer fridge, I did not buy it). I make cakes on a part time basis from my home. For those of you who have one, is a commercial refrigerator a necessity, or does it offer great advantages? Or do you think it would be fine to purchase a residential use freezerless refrigerator? The one I was using before was a residential type refrigerator. I have seen on the cooling system used on cake boss, and it looks more like a beverage cooler to me? Any advice? Thanks to everyone for their input.
