Frosting Red Velvet With Whipping Cream?

Sorry dumb question...The last time I did a RV cake with whipping cream the red bled through so to prevent this would I crumb coat with buttercream??

Red Velvet with Whipped Cream Frosting hurts my heart! I'm too in love with Cream Cheese Frosting. Sorry that was no help whatso ever!

Trust me I hear ya!!! To top it off they want banana's and cream filling!!!

Or would white chocolate ganache work? Would the whipping cream even stay on that? I am envisioning it sliding right off...any thoughts?

That's right it will even shrink & the cake will absorb it, dream whip is good for everything except cake thumbsdown.gif
