I currently live in Illinois, my son will be turning 14 on April 8th, and will be having a birthday party on April 9th as well as celebrating his 1 year anniversary of being transplanted. He told me he would like to have a cake in the shape of lungs, I have no idea where to begin to look for someone to bake a cake in the shape of lungs that would look good enough to want to eat. Please help any suggestions?

Does your son prefer realistic looking lungs, or something more whimsical? If he is open to something more whimsical you can definitely incorporate some of his personal preferences into the cake, like instead of icing the cake to be the colour of real lungs, it could be iced in his favourite colour etc.
