Hi there, not sure what the norm is here but on the other forum I use its considered polite to say Hello. So Hi.
I live in Cheshire, England but I'm originally from Ireland. Came across this site while looking for some tips to make the perfect Rose Swirls on Cupcakes. Haven't the foggiest how to post pics or anything. Looking forward to sharing recipes and tips with you all. x

Thank you. I'm not having a pint of the black stuff instead I have opted for a nice glass or 3 of Rioja.
So how do you post pics here? Is it the [img] way?

Hello, and welcome to CC.

To upload photos click on "my photos" under the "my account" tab, then look up at the top under the file tabs and somewhere below the "galleries" tab you'll see "upload picture". Click on that and follow the instructions.

Again, welcome.

Under "my account" go to "my photos" and follow directions (same line as my account when you're in my photos page).

Welcome. To post a photo click on "my photos" in the left menu when you are logged into your account. Then at the top of the page in the deep purple menu across the top you will see "upload Photo". Click on that and follow the instructions. Once you have uploaded, it my take a few minutes for your picture to appear.
Good luck!

Thanks everyone for the nice welcome. I've uploaded a photo of my recent cupcakes. The last ones got sold before I got the chance to take a picture, not that I'm complaining but they were very pretty.
So can you not post pics on a post then?
And a Happy St Paddy's day to me fellow Oirish Ladies! Slainte!

Welcome to the most addictive website... it's my cake porn...

The posting pictures into a thread is broken at the moment so you will need to link us to either a flickr site with the picture uploaded (or similar online photo album) or link us to an existing internet pic.

Can you use a Facebook link providing its a public file? Another question, is it always so quiet? I posted in GC thinking that its generally the busiest and easiest place to say Hi. I've only posted on 2 other forums (wedding forums) so not sure how this one runs. x

That software feature isn't working properly right now, so you can't add an attachment to a post. But you can add a link. icon_smile.gif
